MOVHD offering free COVID testing this week

PARKERSBURG - The Mid-Ohio Valley Health Department has announced several opportunities this week for free COVID-19 testing.
Wood County Schools was marked Gold on the West Virginia DHHR’s Saturday COVID-19 map, meaning “increased community transmission.” Due to the Gold designation, the local health department is offering free testing opportunities throughout the week. COVID-19 does not always result in symptoms, and asymptomatic people can end up spreading the virus without even knowing they are ill.
