Wood BOE meets Tuesday
PARKERSBURG - The Wood County Board of Education will meet Tuesday (Feb. 9, 2021) in regular session.
The meeting begins at 6 p.m. in the Bailey Board Room at Wood County Schools Central Office at 1210 13th Street in Parkersburg, W.Va. The meeting is open to the public, though seating is limited due to social distancing and masks are required. The meeting will be broadcast online through Zoom.
The board will consider approving a four-year contract for Superintendent Will Hosaflook, beginning July 1, 2021. The board also will consider a transfer of property on the campus of Parkersburg South High School to the Parkersburg Utility Board for installation of a new water tower.
The board will discuss community use guidelines for school facilities.
