Wood County Prevention Coalition · Promoting Positive Youth Development! - Bowling Bash to Strike Out Drugs - This event is directed towards our youth and student aged populations. Prizes awarded to the top elementary, middle, and high school bowlers. Free bowling, pizza, drinks, and T-shirts. 4 to 6 bowlers per Lane. Limited two adults per Lane. The event will be held on November 15 from 1 PM to 3 PM. Registration opens at 12:30 PM. The event will be held at Pike Street Lanes at 2605 Pike Street in Parkersburg.

The first LSIC meeting for PSHS will be held on September 11, 2025 at 4:15pm. We will meet in the main office conference room.

Heavy rain and flooding are affecting student transportation. Our team is working on rerouting where possible. Expect delays for bus riders in flood-prone areas. Safety is Wood County Schools' first priority.
Wood County Schools Special Education Office will be destroying special education records of all former special education students with a graduation date prior to and including 2019. Files prior to 2018 have already been shredded. Former students or legal guardians who would like to obtain the student file may contact Wood County Schools Special Education Office, 1210 13th Street, Parkersburg, WV 26101, at (304) 420-9655, no later than Monday, September 8, 2025.
SPOT Day is moved to Thursday due to weather. Practice will be Wednesday at 8:30am. Report to the ROAC and be in your seat by 8:30. We will hand out Caps and Gowns as well. This is Mandatory. If you still have your iPad, bring it and your charger in to avoid fees.
