Our students are working hard, showing incredible growth, and getting ready to light up the dance floor at the end of February!
We are collecting snap-and-glow BRACELETS ONLY, and we need your help! Last year, students earned an amazing 3,073 bracelets — and we’re aiming to GLOW even bigger this year!
We are still tallying exactly how many bracelets we’ll need, but we already know one thing for sure… we need more! The more growth our students show, the more bracelets they earn — and we want to be ready to celebrate BIG!

Good morning! Tomorrow will mark our 100th day of school! Classrooms might have a special day planned and students may dress in a manner to celebrate the day. Some classrooms might be having a Valentine party on Friday; that is determined by each teacher specifically, so reach out to them if you would like to know if a party is being held for your child's class. There are guidelines as to what can be brought so be sure to communicate with the teacher. Special thanks to our PTO for selling roses with a special gram attached!

Wood County Schools will be closed today, Friday, February 6, 2026, due to expected snowfall and already icy roadway conditions. The safety of our students, families, and staff is our highest priority, and this decision was made after careful consideration of travel conditions across the district. On January 28, the Franklin Falcon will kick off the American Heart Association’s Kids’ Heart Challenge fundraiser! We’re excited to get our students moving, learning, and helping hearts everywhere. 💪💖

Good morning Franklin families! For those able to make it, our PTO still plans to hold Skate Night this evening from 6:00-7:30. Students can skate for free and family rental is $1. Please make safe travel judgements and monitor weather conditions.
