In a thrilling display of mathematical prowess, 5th grade student Addison Thorpe  placed 5th at the State Math Competition. The competition, held over the weekend in the eastern panhandle, brought together the top math students from across the state to compete in a variety of challenging math problems.

Addison, who has been an exceptional student throughout her academic career, performed exceptionally well against really tough competition. 

"I'm so proud of Addison and her incredible performance at the competition," said her math coach, Mrs. Cunningham. "She's a dedicated student who has worked hard to achieve her goals, and her success at the statewide competition is a testament to her talent and commitment."

Addison, who has always had a passion for math and a love for problem-solving, credits her success to her hard work and the support of her teachers and family.

The statewide math competition is known for being one of the most challenging and prestigious math competitions in the state, and Addison's 5th place finish is a testament to her remarkable talent and hard work. With her exceptional performance, Addison has shown that she has what it takes to succeed in the world of math, and her future looks bright.
