contains the following: "Ephram O'Dell - You Rock!" and a yellow start

Sometimes, the people who make the biggest difference are the ones who are simply always there when you need them.

For Ephram O’Dell, a member of the Wood County Schools Management Information Systems (MIS) Team, being there for others is simply part of who he is. His willingness to help, positive attitude and genuine kindness have not gone unnoticed by his colleagues. In fact, Ephram has received 13 You Rock! recognitions from fellow Wood County Schools employees.

The You Rock! employee recognition initiative gives WCS employees an opportunity to recognize colleagues who make a positive difference in the workplace. Ephram’s 13 recognitions are a testament to the impact he has on the people around him.

One colleague, Adrienne Spencer, summed up what makes Ephram so deserving of the recognition:

“Ephram is always so helpful for anything tech related and is positive, kind, and patient while helping staff and students. He is approachable, always smiling and greeting students and staff, and has the best attitude in very stressful situations. Wood County Schools is lucky to have him on the MIS Team!”

Those qualities are evident in the way Ephram approaches his work each day. Whether he is helping solve a technology problem, answering a question, listening to a colleague or taking time to assist a student, Ephram makes people feel that they have his full attention. He has a natural ability to remain calm, friendly and solution-oriented, even when faced with challenging situations.

And perhaps most importantly, Ephram does it all with a smile.

His colleagues know they can count on him—not only for his technical expertise, but also for his patience, encouragement and positive outlook. He consistently looks for solutions rather than focusing on problems and is always willing to go the extra mile to help someone else succeed.

Wood County Schools is grateful to have employees like Ephram O’Dell who remind us that making a difference doesn't always require grand gestures. Sometimes, it is a willingness to help, a kind word, a patient explanation or simply taking the time to listen.

Congratulations, Ephram, on receiving 13 You Rock! recognitions! Thank you for the positivity, kindness and dedication you bring to Wood County Schools every day. You truly rock!
