Two Jackson 8th graders attended WV Youth & Government Seminars this week. Addison Thorpe and Karli Johnson participated in the three-day experience in Charleston. Student representatives toured the Capitol Complex, visited the WV Supreme Court of Appeals, participated in mock legislature, a mock trial and explored the Culture Center and State Museum. Students also had dinner with members of Legislature where they were able to talk to elected officials. Addison and Karli did and excellent job representing Wood County and JMS! Thank you to our own Mrs. Linville for chaperoning students from Wood County.
