The Wood County Recreation Commission is gearing up for another summer of youth sports, offering two popular programs at Parkersburg City Park this season.
Children ages 5–18 can participate in the summer Tennis program, held at the City Park Tennis Courts from June 16th through August 4th. Sessions take place Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings. Meanwhile, the T-Ball program is open to younger children ages 3–6 and will be played at the City Park Baseball Fields from June 15th through August 7th, with games on Monday and Thursday evenings. Both programs are priced at $40.
In-person sign-ups for both programs will be held on May 30th from 9 a.m. to noon at the WCRC Office inside Parkersburg City Park. Families can also register online at woodrecreation.com. The commission is also actively seeking coaches for both programs.
