Open enrollment starts today. Complete the form at woodcountyschoolswv.com/enrollment. Need some assistance or do not have access to the form? Visit your school office. The central office, at 1210 13th St. in Parkersburg, is another option for assistance with completing the form.

Open Enrollment begins at noon today (Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2024). If you would like your child to attend a school outside of your current attendance zone, you must complete the online enrollment form. The link opens at noon today.

Attention boys and girls basketball! Tomorrow, both teams will have a parent meeting at 6:00pm. The girls and their families will meet in the cafeteria and the boys and their families will meet in the gym. This is an important meeting to attend as coaches will go over expectations, schedules, communication, and safety information. Please reach out to the coaches or the school with any questions. Good Morning, This is Mr. Echard principal of Van Devender Middle School with a quick announcement. Coplin Health Systems will be providing free sports physicals to all Vandy students interested in basketball, wrestling or track. The physicals will be offered on Thursday October 26 from 4:30pm-6:30pm during our parent/teacher conferences. We must have a physical on file for any student wanting to try out for these sports. This is open to Vandy students and their families. We are in dire need of candy donations for this event. Please consider donating if you are able. Good Morning, This is Mr. Echard principal of Van Devender Middle School with a couple of announcements. We will have our monthly booster meeting this evening at 6pm in our cafeteria. I will open up the doors at 5pm so I can meet with any parent or guardian who would like to discuss athletics, fundraising or any other school related issues. The end of the 9-week grading period is October 19th. Students wishing to participate in winter athletics will need to have at lease a 2.0 grade point average to do so. All missing work needs submitted as soon as possible. We will be having our annual Trunk-or-Treat on Tuesday, October 24th from 5:30-7:30p.m. All Vandy students and families are welcome to come enjoy the fun! If you are interested in donating a bag of candy, please contact the school or drop it off to the main office during regular school hours. We will have a small haunted house for students and families to go through for a $1 donation. There will be no school for students on October 26th and 27th. Parent teacher conferences will take place on October 26th starting at 11am and ending at 6:45pm. We will be sending home forms to sign up this week.
