Although the form is simple to complete, if you feel you may need some assistance with the application process, or you do not have access to a device or the internet, all secretaries at our schools have an iPad and can assist you beginning at noon on Tuesday, January 16. If you child attends the school that corresponds to your home address, and you wish for this to continue, there is no action needed on your part.

Attention boys and girls basketball! Tomorrow, both teams will have a parent meeting at 6:00pm. The girls and their families will meet in the cafeteria and the boys and their families will meet in the gym. Just a reminder that Coplin Health Systems will be providing free sports physicals tomorrow October 26, 2023 from 4:30pm-6:30pm at Vandy during parent teacher conferences. Students must have a sports physical on file to participate in athletics. Girls basketball tryouts will start next week, boys basketball tryouts and wrestling tryouts will start the following week. Good Morning, This is Mr. Echard principal of Van Devender Middle School with a quick announcement. Coplin Health Systems will be providing free sports physicals to all Vandy students interested in basketball, wrestling or track. The physicals will be offered on Thursday October 26 from 4:30pm-6:30pm during our parent/teacher conferences. We must have a physical on file for any student wanting to try out for these sports. Good Morning, This is Mr. Echard principal of Van Devender Middle School with a couple of announcements. We will have our monthly booster meeting this evening at 6pm in our cafeteria. I will open up the doors at 5pm so I can meet with any parent or guardian who would like to discuss athletics, fundraising or any other school related issues. The end of the 9-week grading period is October 19th. Students wishing to participate in winter athletics will need to have at lease a 2.0 grade point average to do so. All missing work needs submitted as soon as possible. We will be having our annual Trunk-or-Treat on Tuesday, October 24th from 5:30-7:30p.m. All Vandy students and families are welcome to come enjoy the fun! If you are interested in donating a bag of candy, please contact the school or drop it off to the main office during regular school hours. We will have a small haunted house for students and families to go through for a $1 donation. There will be no school for students on October 26th and 27th. Parent teacher conferences will take place on October 26th starting at 11am and ending at 6:45pm. We will be sending home forms to sign up this week.
