Ms Lisa, the public librarian for Williamstown, was Mrs. Mundorff's guest reader on Friday. She taught the kids all about the library and brought goody bags and library card info for them. We loved it!

Mrs. Morgan’s PreK class had such a fun Dr Seuss week! We made hats to wear for Cat in the Hat, had fun with Thing 1 and 2 crafts, counted Goldfish crackers in fish bowls, made drawings of what we wish we had from I Wish That I Had Duck Feet, made stacking cup towers, dressed like our favorite book character, looked at some green eggs, sorted play eggs with ham and dressed in green. We loved having guest readers and really had a fun filled week in PreK!

I just wanted to take a minute to thank everyone that volunteered for inflatable day! I had way more volunteers than we need. If you were assigned a time, you should have received a schedule earlier this week. It would have come home with your child. Remember to make sure that your child wears socks with their shoes on Monday. Students who sold the specified number of items during the fundraiser will get to go to the inflatables for 2 sessions:)

PreK ended Dr. Seuss week participating in many engaging activities. The Lorax Day- fine motor cutting and gluing patterning 2 and 3 color truffala trees. Rhyming with “Green Eggs and Ham” and counting with the “Foot Book” to end the week. Check out the fun they had.

Mrs. Shawver’s class had fun sewing pockets for their wockets, rolling and covering goldfish(1 fish, 2 fish) and had 2 guest readers. Prek plays a vital role in building early academics skills while also fostering social development, motor skills, and self- regulation. At Williamstown Elementary, we provide a nurturing and engaging environment where the children can grow in all of these areas. Explore the photos below to the joy happening in prek.

Regular attendance is essential in elementary school, as it builds strong learning habits and ensures students don't miss important instruction. Mrs. Thomas's students demonstrated this commitment and earned a directed drawing reward for coming to school consistently. Great job, students!
