If your child resides outside of our district and you would like them to continue attending Jefferson Elementary Center for the upcoming school year, please complete an Open Enrollment application online by May 1.
Timely submission is important to ensure continued placement at JEC.

Due to snowy and icy conditions impacting a significant portion of the southern part of Wood County, Wood County Schools will now be closed today, Tuesday, March 17, 2026. While some areas of the county may not be experiencing the same conditions, roadways in other areas remain hazardous. Because our buses and families travel across many different communities and road conditions, this decision was made to prioritize the safety of all students and staff throughout the entire county. We appreciate your understanding as we work to ensure everyone can travel safely.
Due to various road conditions throughout the county, Wood County Schools will be on a 2-hour delay on Tuesday, March 17, 2026.
