Our Agriculture program is part of the Classroom to Cafeteria project, which gives students the opportunity to grow fresh produce for school cafeterias, and encourages students to eat healthy and buy local produce. Great job students, and thank you Agriculture Education Instructor Jeremy Greene and WCS Child Nutrition Director Hollie Best for helping make this opportunity possible!

Why is Career Technical Education (CTE) so important? Research has revealed that students enrolled in CTE look forward to coming to school, have higher attendance rates, do better in their academic courses, and have increased levels of competence and confidence leading to improved mental health. Each week, we will be highlighting students from our various programs so they can share just how important their CTE program is to them.
