
Join us this Friday for PINK OUT! Wear pink and come out and support our Yellowjacket football team as we will take on Doddridge County at 7:00 pm. We will be collecting money for breast cancer research as well as the WVU Medicine Camden Clark Foundation Pink Mammogram Fund. Both the American Cancer Society and WVU Medicine will be at the game. Fans will receive pink cow bells at the gate and cheerleaders will be throwing pink footballs during the game.
The WVSSAC is also presenting our school with an award before kickoff. Pre-game begins at 6:45.


Reminder: Varsity Football vs Tyler is scheduled to kickoff tonight at 7:00. The link to our live stream is included in the graphic below. Also, the link to pre-purchase tickets. Pre-purchasing tickets or using a card at the gate will get you into the game quicker. Tonight is also Youth Night so we will get to meet some future YellowJackets.

Come out tonight and cheer on our soccer team as they take on Sissonville at home, in the first round of sectional play. After soccer, come on up and watch our volleyball girls take on Gilmer. The varsity game will be at 7:00, in the high school gym. Tonight is senior night for three of our lady Jackets.

Join us Friday night as we take on the Tyler Consolidated Knights. This Friday is Youth Night. We will be recognizing our PeeWee Cheer and Football teams before the game and The "Lil Jackettes" will be part of our Pre Game show. Make sure you come early and support these future Yellowjackets.

October 25: Join us for an informative session about the ins and outs of financial aid! Whether you are a student, parent or guardian, this event is designed to help you navigate the financial aid process, including the FAFSA, scholarships, grants, and loans.
Time will be allotted for students (and parents, when required) to create FSA ID accounts, which require authentication up to five days before starting the FAFSA, at StudentAid.gov. Seniors may also apply for the Promise Scholarship at this session.

The Counseling Department is pleased to announce that Dr. Andrew Beck will be featured at our next career roundtable discussion for high school students. He is an assistant professor at Marietta College in the Environmental Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, and Geology Department. He has a very impressive resume, including being a team member for NASA's Dawn mission and part of the Antarctic Search for Meteorites Program. He was recently a staff scientist at Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory where he conducted planetary science research and was a team member on several NASA missions and mission proposals. He remains actively involved with planetary research and exploration, currently serving as a team member for the JAXA/NASA Martian Moon exploration (MMX), set to launch in 2024. Dr. Beck also founded his own geology consulting firm and serves as a consultant for several Fortune 500 companies, advising them on mineralogy/petrology-related litigation. Parade route for the Homecoming parade is as follows: We will depart the school at 1:30 PM. We will go right onto Highland Avenue at the light, then right onto West 8th street, then right onto Henderson Avenue, then right onto Elizabeth Street, then right onto Victoria Avenue, and lastly, left onto 5th Street.
Elementary parade participants will need picked up in the park at the conclusion of the parade. Middle and High School students will go to the field for a pep rally. They will be released at 3:00.
Kickoff for the game will be at 7:00 tonight.
Middle School dance is 9-11. Cost for the dance is $5 per person.
High School dance is tomorrow from 8-10:30. Cost for this dance is also $5 per person.
Lastly, for the safety of our elementary and middle school students, please avoid driving into the city park from 12:30-3:00. This is where their floats will be lining up and dropping off. Extra vehicle traffic is a safety concern.
