A few reminders for Emerson parents and students:
Tomorrow is the last day to order Field Day Shirts. The link to order is on our school webpage and our facebook page. The shirts are $10. Each grade level has a certain color they will wear.

If you haven't returned your iPad charging cord (we need both parts), please return them to the school ASAP.

As the school year begins to come to an end and GSA testing begins next week, we need all iPad chargers returned to the school. Anybody that does not return a charger for their iPad will be invoiced. The cost of a charger is $25.00. Thank you!
As part of Teacher Appreciation Week, I want to take a moment to personally say ‘Thank You’ to all of Wood County Schools’ selfless and dedicated educators.
This has been one of the most challenging school years in recent history. Our teachers have not only endured nearly impossible tasks but have risen to the challenge and have continued to place our students first. Our teachers and personnel have dedicated countless hours keeping students engaged, providing support and care to families, and giving our children a beacon of normalcy in an often turbulent and uncertain world. The work you do each day is more appreciated than you will ever know.
Wood County Schools is blessed to have so many caring and dedicated teachers, and I want all of you to know: We see what you are doing and what you have done, and we are thankful you are here.

Track practice will officially start next week. There will not be any practice tomorrow, April 23rd.
The track team will be posted on the front doors after school tomorrow, April 21st. Track practice is will be Thursday right after school until 4:30. At that time the team will get a schedule for practices and meets.

Don’t forget tryouts for track are Monday for girls and Tuesday for Boys. They will be held after school. You must have a permission form to tryout.

Please send a water bottle to school with your child. We have water bottle filling stations around the school.
Class picture forms will be sent out at a later date. They will be taken on Friday and then you will be given the opportunity to order them later.

Emerson Elementary will be having their Spring Picture Day on Friday, April 9th. More information will be sent home this week. Check your child's folder for details.
Tomorrow, Friday, March 19, 2021 we will be having a hat day/pajama day to support the Wood County Society. Anybody wishing to participate needs to bring $1. The Wood County Society is an amazing organization in our community. We hope everybody will participate! :)
