Wood County Schools Special Education Office will be shredding special education records of former special education students who graduated in 2021. Special Education is required to keep files for 5 years after graduation and all files before 2021 have already been shredded. Former students or legal guardians who would like to obtain the student file may contact Wood County Schools Special Education Office, 1210 13th Street, Parkersburg, WV 26101, at (304) 420-9655, no later than Wednesday, July 22, 2026. A photo ID or legal guardian paperwork and a photo ID are required.
