The Erickson All-Sports Facility Development Corporation has made a generous $30,000 donation to support the installation of an irrigation system for the outfields of the baseball and softball fields at the Erickson All-Sports Facility. The contribution was presented by Rick Bush, President of the Erickson All-Sports Facility Development Corporation.
Since the infield is artificial turf, the new irrigation system in the outfield will help maintain healthy, safe, and consistent playing surfaces by improving field conditions throughout the season. Proper irrigation is essential for field durability and athlete safety, while also reducing long-term maintenance needs.
Facility leaders expressed appreciation for the donation, especially the continued relationship between Wood County Schools and Erickson All-Sports Facility Development Corporation. Investments like this enhance the overall quality of the athletic complex and benefit student-athletes, coaches, and the community. The contribution reflects a continued commitment to strengthening local sports facilities and supporting athletic programs for years to come.
