Wood BOE meets Tuesday
PARKERSBURG - The Wood County Board of Education will meet Tuesday (Oct. 12, 2021) in regular session.
The meeting begins at 6 p.m. at the Wood County Schools Central Office at 1210 13th Street in Parkersburg, W.Va. The meeting is open to the public and will be broadcast online via Zoom.
The board will recognize Criss Elementary School for being named a National Blue Ribbon School and will receive a presentations on book donations from Books-A-Million.
In addition to approving personnel hires and changes, the board will consider approving replacement of bleachers at Williamstown High School’s stadium, and renovations and additions to Blennerhassett Elementary School.
The board also will receive an update on pending litigation related to the former Waverly Elementary School.
