Wood BOE removes mask mandate Good evening. The Wood County Board of Education has approved changes to Wood County Schools’ Covid-19 mitigation plan. Beginning tomorrow (Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2022), masks for students and staff will be optional at all schools.

This is a reminder that Wood County Schools has a Professional Learning day tomorrow, February 7, 2022. Students do not report to school.

Due to inclement weather, the county social studies fair has been rescheduled to Saturday, February 19.

FREE Testing on Saturday, Jan 22 from 12pm-4pm: Covid-19 Testing at the Lincoln facility will resume this Saturday and testing times have changed to 12pm- 4pm. Pull up near green door 1 in your car and someone will come to your car with registration paperwork.

Good morning. Our road crews this morning have reported that roads are unsafe for travel. Many of our roads are iced over with a thin coat of snow. Wood County School will be closed on Thursday, January 20, 2022. 261-day employees will report on a two-hour delay.

Good evening. The National Weather debriefing this evening indicated that Wood County would receive one to three inches of snow by 7:00 a.m. tomorrow morning along with the possible flash freezing of roads. Therefore, Wood County Schools will operate on a two-hour delay for Thursday, January 20, 2022. An additional communication will be made around 6:45 a.m. in the morning, after roads have been surveyed by our staff, to inform our families and employees if school will be in session. Covid-19 Testing at the Lincoln Site: Free testing resumes this week on Tues, Thurs and Sat from 10am to 2pm. Rapid tests are also available for return to school and play protocols.
