The day began with a keynote session led by Dr. Kerry Magro. Dr. Magro shared practical, research-based strategies like Universal Design for Learning, adaptive teaching methods, and sensory-friendly tools to help us better support all students in the classroom. #WCSLearns💡💙

Wood County Schools' students will be the beneficiaries of several grants awarded today at the Parkersburg Area Community Foundation. Thank you to everyone who make these grants possible! Wood County Schools is grateful for the generosity and support. Schools receiving awards include Blennerhassett Elementary, Greenmont Elementary, Kanawha Elementary, Lubeck Elementary, Parkersburg High School, and Parkersburg South High School. The Williamstown Band Boosters and the Williamstown Academic Boosters received grants as well.

Wood County Schools Special Education Office will be destroying special education records of all former special education students with a graduation date prior to and including 2019. Files prior to 2018 have already been shredded.
